God is Merciful

God is merciful. However, that does not mean He is not tolerant of sin, but that He is faithful to forgive us when we sincerely confess our sins.

For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them Deuteronomy 4:31

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Psalm 103:8

Great is your mercy, O LORD; give me life according to your rules. Psalm 119:156

Return, faithless Israel, declares the LORD. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the LORD; I will not be angry forever. Jeremiah 3:12

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us Ephesians 2:4

God's mercy is proportionate to His grace and His love. All three are endless; they have been, are, and always will be available to all who call upon God for repentance.

God is to be praised for His mercy, grace, and love.

Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father's Son, in truth and love.II John 1:3
